The general background of European integration, European Union expansion and the challenges that gradually increase due to the contact of the various linguistic and cultural groups which coexist in all modern societies has created the need for constant research and teaching with a view to achieve a smooth integration of children in a multicultural and multilingual educational and social environment. At the same time the multilingual, multicultural and intercultural communication skills are essential for all individuals involved in the field of education, teachers, children and parents so that each person can develop the necessary skills that will enable him/her to become an active and creative part of modern multilingual schools and communities.
